Design story behind the product
HARU means spring in Japanese. It is inspired from a refugee child's artwork created through art therapy activity and re-interpreted in collaboration with May Pann Pwint, a south-east Asia inspired designer from Myanmar. This is a piece from collection Solidarity that focuses on displaced refugee children living in Istanbul. reflect’s creative art therapy workshops encouraged children to express their thoughts, feelings and experiences in a unique and subjective way through art. Their expressions are re-interpreted and turned into the design of reflect garment.
